The Purpose of the Family Matters Program is to help economically disadvantaged families and under privileged youth by addressing their situations and finding positive solutions.
Through this program we offer a variety of skills and support in areas such as workforce development, after school tutoring, childcare, youth leadership and mentoring, and we also provide meals for disadvantaged families who are not always able to afford meals. In some extreme cases temporary shelter is provided as well for those that may need it.
Our program helps disadvantaged adults gain confidence and independence necessary to succeed and to improve their situation as well as recover their status. The programs also exposes youth to positive mentoring and leadership classes. Our program helps youth to realize their potential as responsible citizens and future leaders of the community and through our program we have created an environment for that purpose. Our program is open to everyone no matter their race, age or religion.
